В gentoo установил secondlife-bin звук есть голоса нет. Стоят звуковые системы alsa и esd. Поправил вот что по указанным путям у всех файлов
/opt/secondlife/app_settings/mozilla-runtime-linux-i686/plugins
/opt/secondlife/app_settings/mozilla-runtime-linux-i686
и у файла
/opt/secondlife/SLVoice
выставил бит исполнимости. Запустил
/etc/init.d/esound start
в игре появилось все! И звуки и голосовой чат. Это что то! :)
Кстати по поводу корявых шрифтов тут есть описание решения а именно:
” The solution to this problem is very simple - replacing the two files (MtBkLfRg.ttf and MtBdLfRg.ttf) with other fonts that support cyrillic (like Arial (Opentype) for MtBkLfRg.ttf, and Arial Bold (Opentype) for MtBdLfRg.ttf ) will fix the problem.”
